Time to Save Our Carpet

Harley, our cat, has loved clawing at our carpet and our arms.  So, today I ventured over to the pet store to pick up some Soft Paws.  They are little caps to put over his claws so that he cannot tear things up or scratch. 

When I first arrived at the store, I only found PINK ones...I had a good giggle thinking of our very, masculine cat with pink nails.  But, I found some clear ones and made the right decision.

To put on the claws, I held Harley squeezed between my legs and Chris glued each cap on to a claw at a time.  BUT, Harley started to get mad.  A very large hiss came from him and I took that as my cue to put on some work gloves as protective gear.

Well, it was a success.  We have one irritated kitty that will deeply miss clawing at the carpet and our flesh.
