Tonight, we went to the first Wednesday in downtown Pleasanton. Chris' parents joined us with one of their labs, Dolly. We decided to only take Dixie because Kona has become way too tough in public. So, we threw Dixie in the back of the car with Dolly and headed downtown.
Jill and I walked around with Dolly and Dixie while Chris and Dave visited the local watering hole. Dixie was surprisingly a good girl...she didn't pick any fights and walked excitedly. Although, she wanted to eat everyone's food!
We ran into MANY basset hound lovers. Well, who doesn't LOVE a basset hound? Dixie received lots of love from the young and the old.
Then, as we waited for the boys, the Pooch Parade came right by. Dixie was the loudest and best cheerleader around. She was hooting and hollering.
