In my class we have "money" called Hula Mula. Each kid gets money when they have completed a class job for a week, helped with a task, etc. Kids also lose money for not having materials ready, misbehaving, etc.
Three times a year, I hold a class auction where the students can spend their money through a live auction. One item was "Teacher Chair for a Week". Well, the winner cashed in.
